Prosecuting multiple public order offences

Sophie conducted a complex multi-day trial against three youths who faced a total of over ten charges including affray and other public order offences. The case involved Sophie in cross-examining multiple civil witnesses, as well as reviewing both CCTV and forensic evidence.

This case highlights Sophie’s skills in:

  • use of significant quantities of evidence from a variety of sources
  • conducting complex and lengthy trials.


All three youths were found guilty and each served a lengthy period of time in a youth rehabilitation centre.
