Supporting a parent to achieve compromise agreement

Louisa acted for a parent at a hearing listed by the Court after the parents had compromised applications for both child arrangements and injunctive orders at a previous first hearing without the CAFCASS safeguarding checks being available.

The CAFCASS officer, who had raised concerns, was directed to attend the court to give further details about the safeguarding concerns they said should lead the court to discharge the orders made by consent.

The matter was compromised with an agreement that should see both parties adequately housed pending the resolution of the financial issues and the children spending time with both of their parents.
