After completing pupillage at another Civil and Family Law set, he joined Becket Chambers in 2025. Prior to coming to the bar, Badar worked as a paralegal and in various other roles, which provided him with opportunities to communicate and work with a wide range of people.

Badar has particular experience in Private Law Children, Public Law Children and Family Law Act matters, including international relocation, most recently in successfully obtaining approval of a client’s application for permission to remove the child.

Badar has experience of dealing with vulnerable clients, where his empathetic approach and focus on making them feel comfortable is combined with robust advocacy on their behalf.

He has undertaken a significant number of final hearings and fact-finding hearings, including multi-day hearings.

Badar also represents clients in personal injury, road traffic accidents, credit hire claims, landlord and tenant cases and small claims.

Badar graduated in law from University of London with First Class Honours and was First in the course. He was awarded Top Graduate Award and Outstanding LLB Year-3 Student Award, and also won the School of Law scholarship among his cohort.

He joined Becket Chambers as a probationary tenant in 2025 and welcomes instructions in all of Chambers’ core practice areas.
