Christian is currently a second six pupil in Chambers and is undertaking work across the breadth of Chambers’ practice areas.
Before commencing pupillage, Christian was legal counsel at a boutique property management firm of Chartered Surveyors in central London. As a result, Christian is experienced in a range of property matters far beyond his year of call, including commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes, super-prime commercial rent review arbitrations and service charge disputes.
Christian has previously been a dairy farmer and has served on a number of dairy industry bodies at board level. He is a past Chairman of the Dairy Council. Christian retains a special interest in agricultural matters and has extensive business experience which helps him relate well to commercial clients from all sectors.
Property and Land
Christian particularly welcomes work in the areas of commercial and residential property, including landlord and tenant disputes, boundary disputes and possession orders. He has a special interest in Agricultural tenancies and service charge disputes.
Christian accepts instructions in all family law matters with particular interest in TOLATA and Inheritance Act cases. He is happy to be instructed at short notice for urgent hearings relating to domestic violence or interim contact applications.
General Civil Law
Christian is happy to receive instructions in general civil matters and is adept at producing advice having read complex papers in a short timeframe. He accepts road traffic accident, contract and commercial instructions.
