Christian Fox – Pupil

Christian is currently a first six pupil in Chambers and is looking forward to undertaking work across the breadth of Chambers’ practice areas from November 2020.

Before commencing pupillage, Christian was legal counsel at a boutique property management firm of Chartered Surveyors in central London. As a result, Christian is experienced in a range of property matters far beyond his year of call, including commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes, super-prime commercial rent review arbitrations and service charge disputes.

Christian has appeared before the First Tier Tribunal in relation to service charge matters and has worked pro-bono for the National Centre for Domestic Violence, taking witness statements from victims of abuse and guiding them through the process of obtaining court orders. These experiences have developed Christian’s ability to both command a situation and yet retain a sensitivity to those involved.

Christian has previously been a dairy farmer and has served on a number of dairy industry bodies at board level. He is a past Chairman of the Dairy Council. Christian retains a special interest in agricultural matters and has extensive business experience which helps him relate well to commercial clients from all sectors.
