Magdalena Cass

Magdalena completed her pupillage in September 22. She welcomes work across all of chambers’ practice areas.

Family

Magdalena previously worked for a London-based Legal 500 law firm specialising in global high-value disputes. She brings experience of strategic litigation and commercial negotiations to her developing financial remedy practice.

In her past role at a regional justice charity Magdalena supported offenders through restorative justice programmes at HMP Lewes. She is unphased by the unexpected and passionate about making sure her clients’ voices are heard. Magdalena looks forward to building her private and public family practice in future.

Civil

Magdalena is familiar with civil courtrooms. She independently represented clients as a County Court Advocate prior to commencing pupillage. She appeared in a range of civil matters across the regional courts, including landlord and tenant disputes and possession cases.

Magdalena understands that going to court can be a stressful experience. She is keen to build her civil mediation practice in assisting clients with alternative dispute resolution.

Magdalena continues to volunteer with the Citizens’ Advice Bureau and regularly contributes to student advocacy exercises at the University of Kent.

Outside of work Magdalena enjoys fitness and baking in equal amounts.
