Yemi joined Becket Chambers in November 2025 and is happy to receive instructions in both civil and family law including financial remedies, private family law, family law act and care proceedings.
Within civil law his practice covers personal injury, contract, road traffic accidents (including credit hire) and property and land law
Yemi undertook pupillage at a set of Chambers in London focusing on crime and family law thereby developing a strong foundation in witness handling and case analysis. Yemi has appeared in Magistrate’s court, Youth Court, County Court and Crown Court.. Yemi’s practice now focuses exclusively on civil and family law.
Yemi was called to the Bar in 2019 after completing his law degree at the University of Kent where he obtained a first-class honours. Yemi then proceeded to the City Law School London where he obtained his Bar Professional Training Course and LLM.
Yemi gained experience in housing law and RTA matters by working for LPC Law limited and his commitment to improving access to justice for disadvantaged communities had seen him volunteer for the Free Representation Unit and the City Community Legal Advice Center. Yemi has also represented radiographers at the Health and Care Professions Tribunal Service.
Prior to becoming a barrister, Yemi was a Diagnostic Medical Radiographer with expertise in CT and MRI scans.
Yemi is able to accept instructions through the Direct Public Access scheme.
