Female partner awarded 50% share in property

Dean represented a woman in a dispute with her ex-partner over ownership of a property they jointly owned. The client sought a 50% share of the property, whereas, whilst her partner accepted that she had an interest in the property, he valued it at 10% of its value.

Following conclusion of the proceedings Dean’s client was awarded a 50% share in the property.
