Imerman direction: information obtained in breach of confidence or unlawfully

Melanie represented the Respondent during a 2-day final hearing.

The preliminary issues included seeking an Imerman direction in respect of information that had been obtained in breach of confidence and/or unlawfully.

The substantial issues related to the application of the section 25 criteria and in particular, the extent of the matrimonial assets in light of the pre-acquired assets and possible inheritance prospects.

The Court made an order in accordance with the offer that had been put on behalf of the Respondent. The Court also made findings in accordance with the findings sought on behalf of the Respondent.
