Holly appeared in the Croydon county court on behalf of a landlord who was seeking repossession of her property.
The property had been let on an Assured Shorthold Tenancy and the landlord relied upon rent arrears in seeking to evict the tenant. The tenant had made a counterclaim relying upon disrepair to the property, harassment by the landlord and a failure to protect the deposit. The case involved Holly in presenting her careful consideration of the law applicable to each claim, examination of numerous items of disrepair claimed, and two expert reports.
The case was settled at court with the landlord recovering possession of the property and all other claims being dismissed.
