Maintaining contact between father and child

Sandria acted for a Father in a case where four children had been removed from the Mother’s care. The children all had different fathers, each of whom had put themselves forward to care for their own child.

With Sandria’s representation, although his child remained in foster care, her client achieved good contact arrangements. These would allow him the opportunity to build up a good relationship with his son, and left open the chance of applying to discharge the Care Order in due course

Sandria also successfully sought a further assessment following an original poor and negative assessment, by demonstrating flaws within the first assessment and arguing that the Court would not be able to make a final decision fairly and justly.
