Representing a Mother concerned with allegations of sexual harm by Father

Marie represented a Father in a case where the Local Authority had applied for a Care Order in respect of his two children. The children were living with the Mother under an Interim Supervision Order, but there were concerns about the Mother’s drug use, neglect and emotional harm, and assessments were on-going.

The Father sought for the children to be returned to his care or that of his parents, who were being assessed as Special Guardians. Interim Supervision orders were put in place and assessments were on-going.
