We are very pleased to welcome Alex Lunnon as our new pupil at Becket Chambers, who will start his first-six under the supervision of Paul Tapsell.
Before joining us, Alex worked with a firm of solicitors as a County Court Advocate, specialising in advocacy and court representation. During that time, Alex attended over 500 hearings, spanning the County and High Courts, as a top-performing advocate. He represented clients in Road Traffic Accidents, contractual/ commercial, and personal injury matters on the small claims track. He also attended hearings relating to property possession, infant personal injury settlements, bankruptcy, return of goods, and various other civil applications.
Alex was subsequently appointed as an Advocacy Manager where he was directly responsible for 30 advocates and assisted in supervising over 200 advocates, providing legal/ procedural advice, corresponding with clients, drafting applications, and keeping up-to-date with civil law/ procedure. His experience has equipped him with excellent multitasking skills, attention to detail, and an easy rapport with clients.
Alex holds a Master of Laws from City St George’s, University of London and a Bachelor of Laws – LLB from Keele University.
