We are delighted to announce that barrister Badar Alam has joined Becket Chambers. Badar focuses on Family Law and general Civil matters.
In Private Law Children, Public Law Children and Family Law Act matters, Badar is experienced in making vulnerable clients feel comfortable whilst robustly advocating on their behalf. He has undertaken a significant number of final hearings and fact-finding
hearings, multi-day hearings and a successful application for permission to remove a child in an international relocation case. In Civil, Badar has represented clients in personal injury, road traffic accidents, credit hire claims, landlord and tenant cases and small claims.
Badar graduated in law from the University of London with First Class Honours and was first in the course. He was awarded the Top Graduate Award and Outstanding LLB Year-3 Student. Badar also won the School of Law scholarship among his cohort. Badar completed the Bar course with LLM from City, University of London. He was awarded a scholarship for the Bar course by the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn.
