- Breach of Contract – we can act for you whether you are the claimant or defendant in cases involving non-payment of fees, termination of contract or claims resulting from defective work
- Fraud – Fraud issues can encompass either civil or criminal investigations and our barristers’ experience spans all areas of practice. We can advise you of the likely outcome of your case and act for you on a number of matters relating to both civil and corporate fraud, in particular issues relating to the 2007 Money Laundering Regulations
- Misrepresentation – if you are involved in a situation where you believe that false or fraudulent assertions have been made to you either negligently or non-negligently, or where someone else has made those allegations against you or your business, we can advise and represent you at all stages
- Specific Performance – this is a discretionary remedy ordered by a court which requires one party in a civil case to fulfil their contractual obligation to another. It is usually ordered where damages would be inadequate or inappropriate. The Becket Chambers Civil Law team is experienced at dealing with cases where this remedy applies
